Staying true to its title, Veerakumar’s Chasing has a variety of sequences by which its protagonist Athira (Varalaxmi) is seen chasing goons and drug peddlers in several places. The movie opens with the kidnapping of a woman who will get rescued by Athira in a couple of minutes, adopted by an investigation. Nonetheless, the viewers have little thought about who has been kidnapped and the motive behind the identical. The director reveals it within the latter half although, however sadly the viewers loses endurance earlier than the midway mark. The movie lacks thrills, enough character detailing and fascinating narration one expects in an motion thriller. Just a few actors seem uncomfortable of their roles which have an effect on the general output. The loud and repetitive background rating makes issues worse.
